Why take Agility or Flyball?
The number one reason why people join dog sports with their furry canine companions is that Agility and Flyball are lots of fun for both dog and handler; but there are other benefits as well. Dog sports, like Agility and Flyball, offer an opportunity for your dog to "blow off steam" in a constructive and pleasurable manner. You will increase confidence in your dog both through positive reinforcement and the sense of accomplishment gained when your dog has successfully learned each new obstacle or completed each race. Your furry friend can also brush up on his social skills as each class has other eager dogs and handlers to interact with. Another benefit to taking Agility and Flyball classes is the opportunity to strengthen your relationship with your canine companion. You will find your furry friend's attitude towards obedience work will improve as result of positive working relationship you will create through training in these dog sports.
